Hi all,
Another weekends draws near which means riding time for
most. This afternoons Roll will be a little sombre as we farewell young Grace as
the Upton family move south to the big smoke of Brisbane; Mike couldn’t bear to
leave us so quickly so he’ll still be around for a little while. Leaves the Surf
Club at 5pm with the 2 groups running again – make sure you have lights.
Saturday leaving 5:30am from the Tannum Coffee Club will be
the Hundy into Gladstone. Pace will be around 33 average for the ride with a
stop to top up bottles in Gladstone.
Also on Saturday the Dam ride leaves at 6am from the Tannum
Coffee Club for a great social ride, this ride always gets quicker on the return trip,
distance just over 40ks; Watch out for blokes with white hair ;-)
Sunday the 7am Surf Club ride that does the Boyne Tannum
loop, around 40ks also.
I’ll be away next week but the following weeks rides will be
the same however the Saturday 5:30am Hundy ride will be replaced by the last Calliope
ride before the Noosa weekend. This ride leaves from the McDonalds at the
Crossroads at Calliope at 5:30am and you ride whatever distance you want, last
week there was a 60 ride, 85 and 100.
