Well another big weekend just finishing up for quite a few of our local athletes. First up Muz is over in Korea and by now has finished another Ironman. I wish I could tell you more but the athlete tracker doesn't work, well for me in any case. Stay tuned......
The Gold Coast Marathon has been run and won also with a lot of locals heading down to suffer like fools, why would you want to run that far for fun? unless it was to finish an Ironman :) Once again I'll get some more info during the week once I have heard all the stories.
The Tour has begun and Cadel has had lady luck smile on him for once during the first stage. Still there are many late nights ahead and many miles before we know who will be in yellow at the end of the month. As they say you can't win the tour in the first week but you can lose it......
This weekend there is racing at Rocky, a Kermesse no less. A Kermesse is a race that is a set distance and number of laps over the established course; in case you didn't know ;) This will be my first attempt at road racing and I can't wait.
