Well the Gold Coast Half has come and gone with all having a great weekend, even though it was bloody wet!
With Hell of the West looming early next year and Noosa this weekend there hasn't been a lot of time to rest the body for most.
I hit the road again last weekend after coming off second best with contact from a pothole resulting in a messy collar bone break and a trashed bike. There are a few lessons to be learnt here, make sure you insure your gear and we need to have a good discussion on riding in a group to try to minimise anymore stacks. Trust me hitting the road isn't nice and I seem to be the resident pro so I know what I'm talking about!
