The have a chat ride

This mornings Saturday ride was ridden at a very sociable pace with everyone having a great old chinwag as we rolled around the Smelter loop. Of course the pace heated up on the run up to the Smelter with the usual suspects pushing it along. How about Daryl's form, he was all over the pointy end, I think he's been getting his meat from the same butcher as Alberto.......I was only to happy to hold wheels as that being on the front just plain hurts ( I have soft serve running through my veins remember). It was great to see plenty of triathletes out and about and they were even friendly today; strange bunch that lot :)
The Maggie's were caught out a little this morning and must have still been catching grubs because they were pretty quiet, mind you they haven't really got into the bombing swing just yet.

The Thursday ride saw about 16 riders turn up with many in the new kit. We'll go for a big group shot before the ride next week so try to be there early. This week we had the ladies pace ride and it will be a regular occurance from now on as it's a nice and steady ride with zero pressure.
The M1 Saturday ride is back in full swing so if anyone is interested in riding from Tannum to meet up with them give me a call as I plan to do it every second week.
