Hi all, sorry I've been a little slack of late but I've been a little distracted of late....This week the long sleeved jersey appeared and looks pretty good if I do say so myself; and proving popular. With the order we will put up numbers in a spreadsheet so you can see how the numbers are looking for each piece of kit early next week. We need a minimum of 10 of each item to get it to go into production - so say the long sleeved jersey in a men's cut, we need 10 of them or the order for them doesn't go ahead. Looking at it most are getting close to 10 but some still have some way to go so they may not be ordered. Hope I didn't lose you. The order will close at the end of the month so if you're sitting on the fence it's time to get off!
This weekend we have a good number of riders heading to the Brissy to the Bay ride. I won't go into detail as I'm sure you have seen it all on the FB page. Riding with around 5000 other riders should be enough to impress make most people as you look at just how massive that group is ;-) can't wait!
I've been riding in Gladstone a little bit of late to escape our tiny network of roads out here and it's been refreshing to ride on so much hotmix! Kirkwood is still a great ride even though it's getting a lot more traffic now-days with all the estates sprouting up. There are some good options around Gladstone if you know where to look but traffic is once again the enemy here so be careful. I was in there early on Saturday and was very impressed by the number of riders out and about in small groups let alone the larger shop rides.
Rides this weekend will still be on but a lot will be away. I'm guessing the 7am dam ride from the coffee club will be popular especially given the temperature change making it hard to get out of bed. Of course the surf club ride at 7am on Sunday will be happening.
I did hear that Robin has ventured back onto the bike after her stack a few weeks ago! That's a pretty impressive effort if I do say so myself.
