Rocky Cup on Wheels

The weather held off and the racing was great at this years Cup On wheel races in Rocky. There were a few locals up there having a crack with Brad Lawlor looking the goods in the Grinder strip. Brad tasted success in A Grade but the whole weekend is about the wheel race. He was off almost last but managed to get onto the middle group quickly and ride wheels to save some energy. He moved up nicely but on the back straight old mate from down south came from nowhere and gapped the group and manged to hold on. Brad was higher on the last turn but still managed to hold on to finish in 5th position out of the 24 starters and get into the cash. If only he was that little bit fitter.....
