Well the first Thursday roll was a great success with 11 riders enjoying the relaxed pace around Tannum. The meals served at the Surf Club afterwards deserve a special mention because they were sensational to say the least.
It was great to also see that the group stayed together and didn’t bust up (except when the women stopped to pick up someone’s bottle), although the G was itching to stir things up on the home stretch. Speaking of the G please make sure that your bottle cages are up to the task because it wouldn’t be a pretty sight to see someone go down due to an ejected bottle.
One last thing….if your riding gear has seen better days and is becoming a little on the thin side please consider your fellow riders and leave them in the drawer for rides when it’s dark….there were 2 offenders and they both were on Trek’s!
